In June we were lucky enough to head down to Vegas for Ben's graduation from high school. With all the things Ben has been through and to still have the drive to not only complete school but to do it with honors, he is the perfect example of perseverance. Congratulation Ben!

Making Memories
In May we found a deal with KOA that if you camped for a night you got the second for free so we choose to go to Bear Lake. The campground was one of the nicest KOA's there is with a heated pool, bouncing pillow, clean restrooms (a must), and even a kitchen area complete with stove tops and sinks. Here Nicole's car "Ares" is all loaded up and looking rugged.
We were able to enjoy some time on the lake in a canoe. As you can see things started off slow...
but we got the hang of it.
We spent 10 mins chasing a beaver in the canoe which was like Christmas for Josh. He had trouble getting the beaver centered in the picture while the camera was zoomed in and while bobbing up and down on a canoe (Where is Chris when you need him?). Some other highlights included some amazing pizza, Josh's glorious sunburn, and "world famous" raspberry shakes. Apparently if you advertise something raspberry at Bear Lake it is required by law that you include the word "famous" in front of it.
Day 2 and Beyond
After our reception we left for our honeymoon and spent the first two days in a cabin up at Sundance. We then left for New York City and were able to see most of the sights such as the Statue of Liberty, Carnegie Hall, China Town, Madison Square Garden, Central Park, and even saw Lion King on Broadway.
We know it's corny to get a picture taken in front of a LOVE statue on our honeymoon but we couldn't resist. The best part is that when we gave our camera to a man to take our picture and walked over to the statue, we turn around and he was gone. He reappeared 10 seconds later having pretended to steal our camera. Thankfully he was only interested in joking around with a couple of tourists.
Here we are on top of Dome of the Rock with the Empire State Building in the background. New York City was huge and it turned out to be a great place to spend a honeymoon. We absolutely loved it there.
Day 1
We have both decided to create a blog in order to keep in touch
with our family and friends as we begin our life together
We were married on March 3, 2012 in the Draper Temple and with a larger sealing room we were lucky enough to be joined by many of our friends and family.
This is a perfect picture of part of the Vegas contingent who came from 80 degree weather to be a part of our wedding. In all fairness to them it was cold for all. The Draper temple is a beautiful place but building a temple at the mouth of a canyon causes chilly bursts of wind in early March.
These two pictures were some of our favorites from our wedding showing the Murry family above and the Bunker family below. Nicole's brother Chris was our photographer and did a wonderful job (it was hard to only choose a few pictures to post).

We held a reception in a reception hall named White Willow in Provo later in the day. We took the opportunity to snap a few more photos there and take advantage of the warmer weather. Josh and his brothers Adam, Austin, and Ryan (LtoR) demonstrate what Ohio men look like.
We would like to thank everyone who came and supported us on our wedding day. Everything went better than we could have dreamed for and it was wonderful sharing this special day with you.
